Dr. Montgomery's medical practice is currently 100% virtual, with gradual return to in-person services at a future date to-be-determined. Dr. Montgomery specializes in naturopathic medicine and serves a variety of individuals, including those with complex health conditions. Job description:

Seeking a provider with an interest or background in environmental medicine and mold-related illness, gastrointestinal conditions, mental and hormonal health, Lyme and chronic infection conditions, autoimmune conditions, EDS/hypermobility spectrum and awareness of structural underpinnings of chronic illnesses.  

 

Preferred minimum of 3+ years of experience; open to discussion.  

 

This is a virtual, independent contractor position. Current needs of 8 hours/week patient hours, with room for growth.

 

Minnesota registration preferred but not required (insert link to MN147E and 146A statutes on regulation of NDs and CAM providers).

Administrative Assistan

Job Description:

Seeking a part-time administrative assistant for 5-10 hours per week, with room for growth. Great opportunity for individuals who have good communication skills, flexibility, reliable access to secure internet and computer. Position is currently virtual.

Preference for individuals with experience or interest in integrative healthcare. 

 

Compensation: $15/hour; negotiable, depending on experience.

 

Current needs:

1) Handle incoming inquiries to main clinic telephone line, main email account and fax. This includes contacting and scheduling prospective and current patients, managing email and calendar, as well as coordinating meetings and communications with labs and other collaborating/referring providers. Expectation is to respond to inquiries within 24 business hours (individual is not expected to be on call or answer calls as they come in. One could designate a time each day to respond to messages. 

 

2) Monthly newsletter to patient community - maintain regular communications with patient community to ensure clarity around scheduling, visit fee schedule, supplement orders, clinic hours, and any other relevant clinic communications.

 

3) Manage email list - ensure interested parties are added to appropriate email list, and keep all email lists current.

 

4) Longer-term goals:

●  Work with me to develop additional, community education resources - include but not limited to the following platforms: newsletter, social media, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook.

●  Help connect and collaborate with other community health and social wellbeing organizations to increase access to naturopathic medicine and acupuncture.

 

Must be/haves:

●  Comfortable with handling confidential and sensitive information.

●  Able to maintain strict patient confidentiality

●  Able to communicate clearly, as well as manage situations that require critical thinking and ability to troubleshoot.

●  Able to problem-solve

●  Have secure internet access (if this is not available, accommodations can be made). **Use of free WiFi at stores, cafes, or other public/private locations is not acceptable.

●  Have access to a computer

Preferred:

●  Administrative support experience of at least 1 year

●  Clinic administrative support experience of at least 1 year - this includes: working as clinic front desk staff, medical assistant, medical scribe.

●  Comfort with navigating social media platforms,

●  Comfort with basic website maintenance, including updating accessibility of site.

Helpful to have, but not required:

●  Accounting experience and comfort with Quickbooks

●  Experience with development and maintenance of online small-business operations.
